You will receive a full refund as long as you cancel the booking before pickup in most case.

However, some supplier has other policies as well: Free cancellation up to a certain hours before pick-up time. If you cancel less than certain hours in advance, you'll receive a refund less than fully prepaid amount or you will receive no refund.

If you cancel AFTER your rental is due to start, you will receive no refund. If you do not pick up the car (usually called a 'no-show'), you will receive no refund. Car hire companies call it a 'no-show' when you do not pick the car up, for example: You do not arrive at the arranged date and time, you do not have the right documents, or you're not eligible for the rental, or the main driver does not have a credit card with enough credit for the deposit.

Some car hires companies may have their own cancellation policy, which you'll find in the terms & conditions of your booking.

You will need to bring your driving license with you to pick up your hire car.

Car hire companies expect drivers to have held their full license for at least two years. Provisional licenses and Copy version aren't accepted.

When you hire a car abroad in some countries you will need an International Driving Permit (IDP), as well as your own driving license.

If you have a UK driving license, you may be asked for a code at the car hire counter. Please visit the DVLA* website (https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence) before your trip.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You will find more specific driving license requirements in Terms and Conditions of each car during the booking process. If you still have any questions, please feel free to contact us

The excess is the amount you're liable for if you make a claim like a car is damaged (when it's covered under Collision Damage Waiver) or stolen (when it's covered under Theft Protection). This means that the hire car company will not charge you the whole cost if the car gets damaged or stolen while you have it.

So if your excess is AED 250 and you make a claim for AED 1,000, the car insurance provider will keep the first AED 250 and give you the remaining AED 750. And if your excess is 0 and you make a claim for AED 1,000, the insurance provider will give you back AED 1,000.

If you want to reduce the excess, you can pay to upgrade your coverage when you pick up your car at the rental counter. You can find the details of the excess amounts for your booking in the terms and conditions and on your rental voucher.

Each car hire company has its own age requirements, but most will rent to people between 25 and 65. If you're 21-25, you are likely to have to pay a young driver fee.

For more specific information, please refer to Terms and Conditions of every car during the booking process.

When you pick up your car, you'll need:

1. Driver's License: Generally, the license needs to be held for at least 1 year (often 2 years) with no major endorsements. Any additional drivers also need to present their Full Driver's License.

If your driver's license is not in English (i.e. if it is in Greek, Russian or Chinese), you also need to bring an International Driving Permit along with your original license. For more information, please refer to Terms and Conditions at the time of booking.

2. Credit Card: A valid credit card in the name of the Main Driver and with sufficient funds must be presented at the rental desk in order to pre-authorize/charge the deposit.

3. Forms of ID: A valid photo ID (Passport or National ID), or any other forms of identification requested by the car rental company.

4. Printed Voucher: A printed version of your voucher must be presented when you pick up your car. Failure to present it may incur an additional charge.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You'll pay for any additional drivers and extra equipment when you arrive to pick up the car – so it's worth bearing those costs in mind when thinking about your credit card. In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card, there is a lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card or the credit card is not in the main driver's name, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.

You can book your car with us using most credit cards and a few debit cards. You will be informed about the payment methods that are accepted while you're booking.

It is strongly suggested to fulfil the payment with a credit card in the name of the lead driver. If your reservation is paid by someone other than the lead driver, you may need to supplement evidentiary material when the booking is reviewed for some security reasons. However, you don't have to use the same card to book your rental car on our website and pay the deposit at the counter desk.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When you pick up your car at the counter, a valid credit card in the name of the lead driver must be presented at the rental desk in order to pre-authorize/charge the deposit. The credit card(s) must be embossed and a PIN number may be required. In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card, there is a lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card or the credit card is not in the lead driver's name, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.

Yes. At pick-up, the counter staff will need you to leave a deposit in case the car is damaged or stolen during your rental. The deposit amount will be temporarily blocked on / taken from the main driver’s credit card and held for the duration of the rental. As long as you bring the car back undamaged at the end of the rental, the money will be unblocked/returned within 30-45 days.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If your main driver's card does not have enough available funds for the deposit, you may not be allowed to take the car – or the counter staff may insist you buy additional cover from them. This is standard practice with all car hire companies.

Yes. You can book to pick your car up in one place and drop it off in another. You'll pay a 'one-way fee' for this. We will clearly state whether the one-way fee is included in the rental price or what additional cost may arise at the time of booking.Once you've picked your car up, please contact the car hire company directly if you want to drop it off somewhere else. You will find a phone number on the rental agreement you signed when you picked the car up.

The cars displayed online are just examples of the vehicles the customer may get, we can provide the exact make or model, or aspects such as the color of the car.

We can, however, guarantee the category of the car, seating capacity, transmission, and boot space. The model of vehicle the customer will receive will depend on availability in the rental supplier's fleet at the collection time. Moreover, you may set the priority of your desired category at the time of reservation in case selected car not available so we may provide you the car with your set priority

Yes. When you pick up your car, you'll leave a deposit for it.

You'll also pay for any extras you want, such as a GPS or child seat, and for any additional drivers you'd like to add.

Booking Related Q/A

We confirm most bookings straight away, and almost all within 2-4 hours. If we haven't confirmed your booking within 2 hours, we will then contact you to explain why.

You can check the status of your booking after your booking has been confirmed at your 'Dash Board' or by checking your registered email.

If your reservation is on request, it may take 2-4 hours to confirm the availability of the requested vehicle with the car rental agent. If we haven't confirmed your booking within 2 hours, we will inform you by email soon.

Also, your money will only be blocked if the reservation is on request. So you won't be charged until the booking is confirmed.

Yes. You simply need to select ' Instant Confirmation' in the search filter. Then we will only display the vehicles which are instantly confirmed to you.

You can see the terms and conditions of every car in the 'Booking Details' page after you choose a car and insurance package. Once you've booked a car, you can see its terms and conditions in the confirmation email and rental voucher, or you can also find it in 'Dash Board.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The terms and conditions cover many important facts about your rental, including what you need to pick up the car, driving license requirements, age requirements, additional driver, coverage detail, the fuel policy, extra services, one-way rental, etc.

Driving License

Each car hire company has its own age requirements, but most will rent to people between 25 and 65. If you're 21-25, you are likely to have to pay a young driver fee.

For more specific information, please refer to Terms and Conditions of every car during the booking process.

Most car hire companies will only rent to people who have held a full driving license for two years. A few will accept drivers who have held a full license for one year. You'll find the license requirements of each car in terms and conditions.

When you hire a car abroad, if your driver's license is printed in the non-Roman alphabet ( Chinese, Cyrillic, etc.), you are strongly recommended to be accompanied by an International Driving Permit. Any driver's license originating from countries not part of the International Driving Permit treaty must also be accompanied by an official translation in English. When renting within the EU, customers from non-EU countries must also present an International Driving Permit along with their domestic license.

IMPORTANT NOTE: An International Driving Permit (often referred to as an International Driving License) is only a translation and does not replace the requirement for a regular driving license. Please show the staff both your local driving license and IDP at the counter, or you will be rejected to rent the car.

Insurance

You'll find the details of this cover when you choose an insurance package during the booking process. Also, you'll find it in the rental agreement you'll sign when you pick up the car.

Any cover that comes as standard is provided by the car hire company.

Collision Damage Waiver is a type of cover for hire cars. It limits the driver's liability if the rental car is damaged. This means that the hire car company will not charge you the whole cost if the car gets damaged while you have it.

There is almost always an excess, which means you will pay the first part of any repair costs. The specifics of what Collision Damage Waiver includes depends on the car hire company and where you hire the car.

But it does not usually include windscreens, tyres, undercarriage, replacement locks, replacement keys and towing charges. This means that if these parts of the car are damaged, or the car is towed, you will be liable for the whole cost, not just an excess.

Also, Collision Damage Waiver only works if you stick to the terms of the rental agreement (which you'll sign when you collect the car). This means that if (for example) you drive drunk or park somewhere risky and the car is damaged, you will be liable for the whole cost of repair, not just an excess.

Theft Protection is a type of cover for hire cars. It limits the driver's liability if the rental car is stolen. This means that the hire car company will not charge you the whole cost if the car gets stolen while you have it.

There is almost always an excess, which means you will pay the first part of any repair or replacement costs.

The specifics of what Theft Protection includes depends on the car hire company and where you hire the car. Theft Protection only works if you stick to the terms of the rental agreement (which you’ll sign when you collect the car). This means that if (for example) you leave the car unlocked and it is stolen, you will be liable for the whole cost of repair or replacement, not just an excess.

A Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) is an optional insurance and it pays the hospital fees if you or any passengers in the hire car are injured.

Personal Effects Protection (PEP) is an insurance covers the loss of the personal belongs of you and your family members who are travelling with you.

Fuel, Mileage & Travel Plans

Yes. You can book to pick your car up in one place and drop it off in another. You'll pay a 'one-way fee' for this. We will clearly state whether the one-way fee is included in the rental price or what additional cost may arise at the time of booking.

Once you've picked your car up, please contact the car hire company directly if you want to drop it off somewhere else. You will find a phone number on the rental agreement you signed when you picked the car up.

If you enter the times you would like to pick up or return the car when you make a search on our website, we'll only show you the cars that are available at the times you need.

However please bear in mind that you may be charged extra for an out-of-hours service in some locations. If there's any issue with the out-of-hours service on your booking, we'll inform you.

If the counter staffs don't make it clear when you pick your car up, please confirm with them. There may also be a sign inside the petrol cap.

Car hire companies change their cars all the time, so we can't guarantee which type of fuel your car will take.

We show you each car's fuel policy when you're booking a car. Most cars have a 'Full to Full' fuel policy, which we recommend. But there are other policies as well.

Full to Full-The fuel tank will be full or partly full when you pick your car up. Right before you drop the car off, just replace the fuel you've used, or the car hire company will charge you to refill it.

Free Tank-A free tank of fuel is included in the rental price. When you pick your car up, the tank will be full. You can drop the car off with any amount of fuel in the tank.

Full to Empty-You'll pay for the fuel in the tank when you pick the car up. Try to drop the car off as empty as possible, as the car hire company won't refund you for unused fuel.

Level to Level-The vehicle should be returned with the same amount of fuel as delivered.

You can see any rules about mileage in each car's terms and conditions. Once you've booked a car, you can also see it in the confirmation email.

The fuel policy for your rental explains how you will pay for fuel for your hire car, and whether you need to fill the tank before you return the car. You can see each car's fuel policy clearly by its description. Most cars come with a 'Full to Full' fuel policy, which is the best value option. The tank will be full when you collect the car, and you will need to return it full.

Unfortunately, this is not possible as the car rental agents determine their fuel policy individually.

For optional charges that you select as part of your booking, you will be charged by the car hire companies when collecting your car.

You can request Booster seat / Child toddler seat / Infant child seat / GPS online.

However, the availability of optional extras depends on the car rental agent. Requests cannot be guaranteed as the prices and availability are subject to change. Payment due at pick-up.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All optional charges are not included in the rental price and you may required to pay at the rental desk.

You need to add additional drivers while booking, the counter staff of Rental Company may ask to show the original documents at the time of car pick up.

All age and license requirements also apply to additional drivers.

Some suppliers may have special offers named 'Free Additional Driver ', which means you can add one additional driver for free.

If you want to add someone as an additional driver, they'll need to be with you when you go to pick up your car.

The rules about the main driver also apply to any additional drivers.

The car hire company will charge you for the additional driver for the whole time that you have the car

Payment and Fee

If you wish to pick-up or return your car outside the normal rental desk office hours, the car rental agent may choose to charge an extra ‘out-of-hours fee’. We will clearly mention any additional charges at the time of booking.

No. You don't have to use the same card to book your rental car and pay the deposit.

IMPORTANT NOTE: However it's important to let you know the main driver will need a credit card held in their own name with them to pick up the car. This is because the hire car company need to put a deposit on the main driver's credit card.

It might be because we had a problem communicating with your card provider, or because there is an issue with your card, or because you made a mistake when you were entering the details.

You could try again using a different card, or contact your card provider to check everything is working.

To make things easy, you can pay for your car with any card on our site. You don't have to pay for your booking with the credit card you bring with you when you pick up the car.

Please note that each car rental agent has its own policy on additional charges which will be clearly stated in the rental conditions at the time of booking.

Yes, in most cases the car rental agent will charge an extra fee if you wish to return the vehicle at a different location. We will clearly state whether the one-way fee is included in the rental price or what additional cost may arise at the time of booking.

Yes. If you use any toll roads in your rental car, you are responsible for the cost, just as you would be when driving your own car.

Amendment & Cancellation

Some car hire companies may have their own cancellation policy, which you'll find in the terms & conditions of your booking.

A 'no-show' occurs for the following reasons:

1. You didn't inform us of your cancellation prior to your pick-up time.

2. You failed to pick up the car at the arranged time and date.

3. You failed to provide the documentation that's required to pick up the car.

4. You failed to provide a credit card in the main driver's name with enough available funds on it.

In the event of any of the above, no refunds will be made to you. The car hire company reserves the right to refuse a car to any customer who fails to arrive on time with all necessary documentation and a credit card with enough available funds for the car's security deposit. In such cases, unless the car hire has been cancelled in advance, the customer will not be entitled to a refund.

If you have already picked up the vehicle, it is necessary to contact the location directly. Their telephone number is on your rental contract.

If you have not yet picked up the vehicle, it may be necessary to cancel and rebook. Any change to your reservation may result in a rate change.

To cancel your booking, go to 'Dash Board', enter your details and cancel your booking.

Pick up & Drop Off

When you pick up your car, you'll need:

 1. Driver's License: Generally, the license needs to be held for at least 1 year (often 2 years) with no major endorsements. Any additional drivers also need to present their Full Driver's License.

If your driver's license is not in English (i.e. if it is in Arabic, Greek, Russian or Chinese), you also need to bring an International Driving Permit along with your original license.

Once you've picked your car up, please contact the car hire company directly if you want to change your drop-off time. Some car hire companies offer an out-of-hours service in some locations but will charge extra for it. Other car hire companies and locations aren't able to offer an out-of-hours service.

If you return your vehicle one hour later than the scheduled time stated on your voucher, you may incur the cost equivalent to one day's hire at the car hire company's valid rate, to which local taxes and agency insurance will be applied.

If the reserved vehicle is in a bad condition at pick-up, raise this issue with the car rental agent immediately and request an alternative. If the matter is not resolved, contact us so we can try and arrange a suitable substitute with the car rental agent.
We highly recommend that you thoroughly check the car for any imperfections at time of pick up and notify the car rental supplier of any issues immediately. If you notice that the reserved vehicle is damaged at pick-up, raise this issue with the car rental agent immediately and request an alternative. If the matter is not resolved, contact us so we can try and arrange a suitable substitute with the car rental agent. Any damages on the car might affect your excess if not addressed before the rental.

Yes, sometimes you will.

You'll pay your car's deposit and for any extras or additional drivers you'd like.

Other charges will depend on where you're hiring, the age of the driver(s), and what your trip involves. Here are some examples of charges that can come up: Government rules and taxes, location charges, one-way fee, fuel charge, credit card charge, young driver, senior driver, out of hours, roadside assistance, and mileage fee etc.

You are responsible for any fines or tickets you get while you are renting the car, just as you would be in your own car. When you drop your car off, please let the car hire company know about any tickets or fines you've incurred.

Because driving and parking fines can take a while to come through, you may not be charged for some fines until after you have dropped off your car. The car hire company will let you know if you've incurred any fines you did not know about. They'll manage the fines and charge your credit card. They may also charge you an administration fee.

By returning the car on time, with the right amount of fuel and without any new damage or excessive dirt. When you drop the car off, the car hire company could charge you for:

-a whole additional day if you return the car late

-refueling, plus a charge for doing it

-having to clean the car if it’s extremely dirty

-new damage

After rental

There are a few reasons why the car hire company might charge you directly.

When you pick up the car, you will pay the car hire company for additional drivers and extra equipment. If you choose to buy cover at the counter when you pick up the car, the hire car company will provide the cover and you will pay them directly.

After your hire, the car hire company may charge you for refueling, parking tickets, fines or damage to the vehicle. They should list any charges on the paperwork they give you (although some fines and parking tickets might arrive later).

If you don't understand the paperwork you've been given, or you're not sure why you've been charged, please get in touch with us at [email protected] and we can take a look.

You will be provided with a rental receipt upon completion of your rental. If you need any additional information, you can contact the car rental company for a receipt.

Please email us at [email protected] with your booking details and we will respond shortly.
